Athletics has been my life since I was a young girl and to this day my passion is to help women transform their life through fitness, nutrition, and mindset coaching. I am a busy working mom who loves to train and coach women on how to navigate their fitness and nutrition while also being a mother and/or a driven career woman.
As a Certified Fitness Trainer and Nationally Registered Yoga Teacher with a Masters in Education, I have learned to apply all my years of education and experience to help guide women to be their healthiest and happiest version. |
My StoryI spent my twenties as an outdoor adventure athlete. I was an avid snowboarder, cyclist, rock climber and surfer. I discovered yoga, which helped me to balance out all the pounding I was putting my body through. I completed yoga teacher training in my late twenties.
During that time, I was also a total cardio queen. I couldn't figure out why hours of cardio (running, biking, dancing) were not giving me the body I was desiring to have as a female athlete. I felt defeated and often discouraged. |
Today, I am in the season of Motherhood. I am happily married with a partner who also loves to be active and stay fit. I have energy for my full time career in education and am grateful for my fitness which allows me to keep up with my children.
However, I can no longer afford to devote hours to training, or drop everything to train whenever I want. This has led me to develop a method of training that is time efficient and can even be done at home with minimal equipment. My ability to change how I train and still get incredible results has allowed me to help other moms, moms-to-be, and women with very little time on their hands. |
I stay up to date on certifications, and I stay sharp by doing courses with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and with Exercise Etc. Inc. I train about 4 to 5 times per week. I love metabolic conditioning workouts and my favorite exercises are just about any variation of squats. I meal prep on Sundays and Wednesdays in order to keep protein and whole grain options always available for the whole family. I live a macros based lifestyle, so I never feel like I'm starving because I eat what I want based on my macros. I even wrote a book on Macros!
To this day, I still practice and teach yoga to others, and I still lift heavy and apply the principles from bodybuilding into my own training. In my humble opinion, weight training and proper nutrition is the fountain of youth! |
What I Love to DoWith all of my clients, I create programs based on our consultations, simple surveys, data and analysis of progress, and general connection. I feel the better I know a client, the more successful and happy they will be.
Many women, especially moms, forget how worthy they are of self-care. They forget that they can have the career, the kids, relationships, and a body they love. It is my mission to teach women how proper nutrition and fitness are the keys to lifelong youth and radiant beauty. I want women to get off the dieting rollercoaster and just embrace daily nutrition and understand macro-nutrients. This way, you can reach your short-term goals, as well as maintain success for your entire life. |
