A Preview into the Work of Keith Mitchell

After Keith's retirement from the NFL, he discovered real healing through mindful breathing and yoga. Through these practices he found that the life he lived before was not authentic to his soul's calling. According to Keith, it was yoga and meditation that helped him to discover who he really is and his purpose in life. 

As he dove into these practices, he was forced to go deep inside of himself. Within that inner world of self-exploration, he was left facing many unanswered questions. One of the biggest questions he faced was how can we take our lives to the next step, so we can have more freedom? This question ended up being the premise behind Light Up, his non-profit organization.

with Keith Mitchell

This Friday, July 24th, I will be hosting an on-line interview (click here to preview the interview) with former NFL star turned yogi, Keith Mitchell. Keith spent a large part of his life identifying as an alpha football star. Sadly, at the age of 31, he experienced a paralyzing spinal injury during a game, which resulted in early retirement. His injury left him to face a new identity. An identity absent of helmets, tackles, or body armor. 

Keith could have easily fallen into deep emotional despair, but instead he decided to create a new life full of intention, focus and clarity. Keith channeled his energies into creating a new way of existing: one with more connection, awareness and mindfulness. What did this new energy create? It created a powerful yogi.
  

Keith is a person, like myself, who believes in manifestation and showing people, of all ages, what mindfulness and holistic health feels like and looks like. That is why it is very exciting for me to announce this special, exclusive interview.  The core mission of this wellness business is to provide all people with support, coaching, and education on how to create an authentic, happy life. My coaching approach is about helping people generate a life that is true to their mind, soul and body which is why I support the work of Keith.
